Who would you trade places with for the day if you could? I would trade with Kylian Mbappé, Mbappé is arguably the best soccer player in the world. He is a twenty-four year old French phenom, he plays for Paris Saint-Germain F.C his contract earns him 128,000,000$ annually which means he is filthy rich. He turned down a reported 1.1 billion dollar offer from the Saudi Arabian league which would make him the highest paid athlete on the planet. He is the fastest soccer player in the world and has a World Cup to his name the most prized trophy in all of soccer. If I could be him for a day I would want to be able to play in a game and have my family watch me play in a game and for me to win. Right after the game I would take my family and I on a big shopping spree and get anything they want since I am filthy rich. I would end the day by taking my family wherever they would want to go for dinner and then taking them on top of the Eiffel Tower. That would conclude my day as mbappè.

If I could have the perfect day it would be all about playing and watching sports. I would wake up at 8:30 on a Saturday morning to get ready for my first outdoor soccer game on turf. After that game I would go down to Breakfast Republic in Irvine and get the churro pancakes with house potatoes. After I finish eating my magnificent breakfast I would want to go home to play FIFA and Fortnite with my good friends. I would want to play for about 2 hours then get ready for my 2nd outdoor soccer game, After I win that game too I would head over to my indoor soccer games where I would play back to back games. I would get home eat my Raising Canes that I picked up on the way back from my games. To finish up my day I would play video games and eat fettuccini Alfredo till like 2:00 AM and then snuggle up in comfy cozy bed.

If I had a choice to be any age forever I would want to be twenty-three. I believe twenty-three is a good choice because you are grown up enough to drive yourself and friends anywhere. This important because you don’t want to have to rely on someone to drive you around everywhere you go. Also I would want to be twenty-three forever because I will be at the peak of my athletic ability and my body will be done growing. I find this an important part of my choice because I love to play all sports and if i wanted to live forever I would still want to play the best. These are all the reasons I would want to be twenty-three forever.

It was a warm breezy Saturday morning, I was standing in the starting circle of my soccer game ready to win and move on to the finals. This was my first tournament with my new club team Pateadores FC and I was so excited that I had already taken the starting spot. The game quickly kicked off with my team scoring two goals in the first half. Second half started and out of nowhere the opposing team scored two and got really close to tying us. Couple minutes go by and there little time left the opposing team a powerful shot and DOINK! It hit off the post coming inches away from tying the game. Last 5 minutes of the game my team wins the ball driving down field, all of a sudden my teammate slipped but he still has the ball, he passes to my teammate he drives down field with the opposing team right behind him he crosses it right behind me. Am I going to get it am I not BOOM! The ball makes contact with my foot and it blasts in the goal. GOOOOOAL I had secured the win for my team!

This month I read Ghost By Jason Reynolds. Ghost is about a 12 year old kid whose dad is in jail for shooting at him and his mom. He loves eating sunflower seeds and always getting in trouble. But one day, when he is munching on some sunflower seeds he spots this kid named Lu running and his track practice and thinks he is faster than him. After watching Lu Ghost walked up besides him and got in a racing stance. After they race coach invites ghost on the team. Ghost has struggled all his life when it comes to money, bullying, and even just staying out of trouble. I loved that the book relates to so many people who are not in the best position financially. My favorite character is Ghost because I love his confidence and willpower, just like Ghost I am really confident too. “I lined up with Lu, who had now dropped into his “on your mark stance.” I didn’t need to do all that. I just needed to roll my jeans up and tuck my laces in my high tops and I was good to go.” This quote is important because it shows castles confidence and him getting intimated by Lu. My favorite line from the book is on, I just lifted my arms, fists tight, and lowered them like hammer down onto Brandon‘s face. This is my favorite line because is show castle isn’t scared of nobody and is not intimated by Brandon.
